Women On Mission Ministry

Women of the Oaks are committed to nurturing a love for the church, encouraging women to serve those in need, building community, and sharing love. As a unified body of believers we desire to inspire, equip, support, and disciple women to live fully in God's purpose. We fulfill that vision by creating opportunities and resources for women to discover gifts and be empowered to fulfill HIS purpose.

"We strive to create spaces and experiences through worship, study, workshops, and community service to inspire women to love God, love themselves, and love one another."

November is the month we usually take time to reflect on being “extra” thankful, and I’m going to do just that this year! I challenge you to do the same. In a time of so much uncertainty around us I’m especially grateful for our church and community of believers we are here at The Oaks.
While we are going to be wrapping up one Fall mission project in the next day or so we will be jumping right in to another. Thank you for ALL of the candy you’ve donated for the (several) activities we have coming up in the next few days. Starting in November we will, once again, be working toward our yearly outreach project of collecting coats for our little friends across the street at Headstart.
This year we are planning to wrap up over 50 little ones in brand new coats! Here’s how you can help...You may either give a monetary donation or provide a new coat as we have done in the past. You will notice our “tree of coats” in front of the library.
1. Pick a coat.
2. Sign your name on the list next to the number assigned on the back.
3. Go shopping. Return coat with # attached
All gifts need to be turned in by Sunday, Dec 7. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me.

Thank you!
